Missing School Headmaster Found Dead In Odisha

Cuttack: Body of a school headmaster was found under mysterious circumstances on the bank of Mahanadi River at Khamaranga in Banki of Cuttack district today.

The deceased, who was reportedly missing since Sunday, has been identified as Nimai Charan Mohapatra.

According to sources, Mohapatra hailed from Sahadapadar village and was posted at Singhanathpur UGME School at Patapur.

Some locals spotted his body today morning and informed police. Later, police seized the body and sent it for post-mortem.

While the exact cause of his death is still unclear, police have begun an investigation in connection with the incident.
