Puri: The first meeting of the Justice Raghubir Dash Commission of Inquiry, which will be probing the disappearance of Ratna Bhandar key of Puri Srimandir, will be held today at the Circuit House here today.

As per reports, the meeting will be held at 11 am in which officials of the Sri Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) and district administration will be present. Besides, persons or organisations who have submitted affidavits are likely to depose before the Commission.

Sources said a discussion will be held on the existing legal provisions for safekeeping of treasury key of the 12th century shrine.

The Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) had stated that the Commission of Inquiry would submit report within three months of its appointment.

Last month Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik had ordered a judicial probe into the missing of the key.

Apart from this, a public interest litigation (PIL) was also filed in the Orissa High Court seeking CBI probe into missing of the key. The State Government, Centre, CBI and the RBI were made parties in the PIL.
