"My younger brother’s nephew passed away. After his death, some villagers refused to cooperate or extend any support. They even denied permission to conduct the last rites on private land. That is the sole reason for the dispute. As it is his fundamental right, and since the land belongs to him personally, he has every right to take the body to the cremation ground and perform the last rites. No one has the authority to interfere in this matter,” said Nabin Santa.

Despite the cremation taking place, tension continues to prevail in the village. Police personnel have been deployed to maintain law and order and prevent any further escalation.
