Bhubaneswar: Admitting that the question paper of the Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test (OTET) conducted by the Board of Secondary Education (BSE) was made viral on social media, Odisha School and Mass Education Minister Samir Ranjan Das today said an inquiry has been initiated to find out how the paper of the online test got circulated.

He, however, denied that the question paper viral incident has affected the entire exam process.

As per reports, the question paper of OTET held on August 6 was circulated on social media following which, the School and Mass Education department launched a probe and found that the leak happened from Titlagarh.

Also, the candidate who circulated the OTET paper has been identified and action has been initiated in this regard, the minister added.

"Mobile phones are banned at the exam centre. However, a mobile was taken into the centre and the paper was shared on social media. An inquiry has been launched and the concerned student has been identified," the minister added.

After the January OTET question paper got leaked on social media, the BSE cancelled the exam and decided to conduct it online. Following this the online exam was held afresh starting August 6 across the State.
