Mentally-challenged man stabs CISF personnel in Paradip

Paradip: A Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) personnel was stabbed by a mentally-challenged man at Sandakuda area in Paradip of Jagatsinghpur district, Friday.

As per sources, the injured CISF personnel identified as Parsuram Ojha had visited a stall to get some tiffin when the mentally-challenged man attacked him with a knife.

Ojha was first rushed to Paradip Port Trust Hospital but was later shifted to SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack after his condition worsened. He has sustained three stab wounds on his stomach.

"After receiving my mother's call that father has been stabbed, I rushed to home and found him covered in bandages. I was not on the spot but came to know from people that he was attacked by a mentally-challenged man," said Ojha's son.
