Mayurbhanj BJD MP to file case against Dharmendra Pradhan

Baripada: Mayurbhanj BJD MP Ramachandra Hansda has said that he will file a legal case against Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan for accusing the former of involving in corruption.

While speaking to media persons today, Hansda alleged that while addressing a public meeting at Baripada on January 5, the Union Minister mocked him as ‘a corruption-ridden MP who spent four and half years in jail’.

He said that the statements have affected his sentiments.

“Union Minister Pradhan mockingly said, ‘a corruption-ridden MP who spent four and half years in jail’. The mockery has hurt my image and I am going to take necessary legal action,” Hansda said.

Speaking at the public meeting on January 5, Pradhan had said, “Your MPs don’t listen to you. Mayurbhanj MP had spent four and half years in jail on charges of irregularities.”
