Matric exam from Feb 23

Cuttack: The annual High School Certificate (HSC) examination will begin from February 23 and continue till March 9, the Board of Secondary Education (BSE) said on Monday.

The first session of the exam will be in OMR sheet and start at 9am and end at 10am. The second session will begin after 10 minutes break, at 10.10am and last till 11.40am, said DP Nanda, president of BSE.

Students are needed to enter exam halls at 8.30am and OMR sheet will be given to them at 8.45 am, he added.

Special arrangements have been made to ensure smooth conduct of the exams including dispatching of admit cards to schools and safety of question papers, he added.

More than six lakh students would appear for the exam, said sources.
