Cuttack: The HSC examination for 2013 will commence from February 25 and will be continued till March 9. The exam will start at 9 am every day, Board of Secondary Education (BSE) sources said.
“We have decided to conduct the test from February 25 and to end it by March 9”, BSE president DP Nanda said.
Elaborate arrangements have been made to ensure a smooth conduct of examination. As many as 301 centres have been made to stock the newly introduced question-cum-answers booklet. The BSE has also decided to provide the booklet 15 minutes before the comencemnet of test.
The candidates had apprehended problem in writing answers on the limited space provided in the booklet after government declared the new pattern. Such decision of the Mass Education department had triggered resentment among the students as well as some teachers.
However, the government had claimed that the new pattern would help students to consume time while some educationists welcomed the step saying that the system will prevent the students to write irrelevant things on the answer sheet.
