Bhubaneswar: The mass education minister today told in the assembly that the government has asked the Director of Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha, to enquire into the matriculation question papers theft case in Bhagwati Vidyapeeth at Bajpur under Kakatpur block in Puri district and stringent action would be taken against all those found guilty. The incident had taken place on Tuesday night. 

The entire Opposition, the Congress and BJP members today created ruckus in the assembly as soon as the question hour began demanding reply from the mass education minister Pratap Jena over the question papers theft issue. The members drew the attention of the Speaker to several media reports about cancellation of the matriculation (regular) examination. The members accused that the future of five lakh matriculation students hangs in the balance due to the negligence of the government.
