Cuttack: The workers of CPIM’s Cuttack arm on Monday held a mass convention before Cuttack railway station and submitted a host of demands to be fulfilled.

In the convention, CPIM workers presented their speeches demanding the fixing of daily wage earners’ lowest minimum salary at Rs 200, controlling price rise, donating land to the landless labourers and the permanent rehabilitation of slum dwellers. 

In the convention attended by more than hundred people, CPIM declared that if the demands are not met immediately, the party will plan for jail bharo andolan in the days ahead.
