Bhubaneswar: In a letter received by OTV today morning, secretay of CPI(Maoist) Koraput Srikakulam Division Committee, Daya has warned to continue their protest until members of the Chasi Mulia Adivasi Sangha (CMAS) are freed in exchange of the safe release of abducted Laxmipur MLA Jhina Hikaka. Condemning Operation Green Hunt,  the committee has also demanded early closure of the operation.

The committee has also expressed dissatisfaction over the governmet`s policy and dilly dallying attitude towards free prisoners. The message bearing signature of Daya alleged that the government has failed to take any initiative though the tribal MLA has been in thier custody since March 23.

On Friday, an audio tape released by Maoist leader Aruna said that the next Praja Court (People`s Court ) on April 25 would decide the fate of the abducted Laximur MLA Jhina Hikaka. The tape said that their organisation is dissatisfied with the government`s ongoing process to free the CMAS prisoners. The Praja Court, scheduled for April 25 will decide the fate of the tribal legislator, the tape added.
