Sambalpur: The Special Operation Group(DOG) forces along with CRPF forces have started massive combing operations inside the forests near Munder in Sambalpur district after the left wing ultras on Tuesday afternoon set fire to the camp of ARSS private constructiobn company.  According to the police, during the combing operations, a group of Maoists hiding inside the Jujumura forests started firing uponb the security personnel ensuing a firece gunbattle between the two sides.

The incident had taken place about 20 kilometres from Sambalpur town. The raiding Maoists had set fire to more than 20 trucks and tippers of the construction company. Around 15 ultras carried out the operation in broadday light. The Maoists snatched away one gun from a security personnel. No casualty has been reported so far.
