Man kills wife over family feud in Keonjhar; flees with son

Keonjhar: A man allegedly killed his wife over a family feud at Mukta Sahi under Telkoi police limits of Keonjhar district on Thursday night.

According to sources, the accused Tukuna Juanga returned home in an inebriated condition last night and had an altercation with his wife Gurubari. Tukuna became violent and allegedly hit Gurubari on her head with a wooden stick. Later Tukuna slashed Gurubari's neck with a knife following which she died on the spot due to excessive bleeding, sources added.

Soon after the incident Tukuna fled the spot and took his son along with him, informed sources.

Police reached the spot and have started an investigation into the incident.
