Man Decapitated Over Suspicion Of Witchcraft In Odisha!

Gajapati: Superstitions like witchcraft continue to rule the roost in Odisha with another case of sorcery reportedly claiming life of one person in Mohana block of Gajapati district.

As per reports, headless body of a man was found inside forest near Bhaliasahi village on Wednesday morning. Suspecting it to be a case of murder, locals informed the matter to police.

Cops along with a team of forensic officials reached the spot to initiate investigation and after preliminary probe, police identified the deceased to be one Dasu Mallick of Bhaliasahi village.

Even though the police are yet to clarify on the exact cause behind the incident, Dasu's son has alleged that his father had past enmity with some people of nearby Benipadar village so they might have hacked him to death over suspected witchcraft.
