Bhubaneswar: With a low pressure forming over the Bay of Bengal, heavy rainfall is likely to occur at few places of the State from October 28, the Regional Meteorological Centre forecast today.

The low pressure area over west-Central and adjoining Bay of Bengal is likely to induce rainfall in coastal parts of Odisha. Besides, heavy rainfall is predicted at one or two places in other parts of the State.

Meanwhile, moderate cold wave condition is likely to prevail over some parts of the State from today. Weather is likely to remain foggy during morning and evening time, the met department said.

On the other hand, there will be a high-level of humidity during the day time, it added.
