Landmine Recovered During Anti-Naxalite Operation

Koraput: A landmine was recovered by the security personnel during an anti-Naxalite operation in Koraput district on Monday, police said.

The landmine was recovered by BSF and SOG personnel near Anchalput between Narayanpatna and Podapadar and neutralized by experts.

The explosive was planted targeting security personnel.

The explosive is of low intensity. Suspecting more landmines in the area, security men have launched a search operation, said Superintendent of Police of Koraput, Anup Kumar Sahoo.
