Bhubaneswar: To strengthen the party organisation at the grassroots level in tribal dominated areas, state BJP chief KV Singhdeo will begin his five-day tour to Kalahandi and six other districts from April 20.

"During the tour we will appraise people about the non-performance of the ruling government. Corruption will be the main agenda. We want to tell the people that BJP is the only alternative to BJD in Odisha," said Singhdeo.

According to the saffron leader's itinenary his second phase tour will culminate on April 25 at Chattrapur in Berhampur.

Hinting that the state unit will form a new balanced team after his 5-day visit, Singhdeo said, "We will choose trustworthy people from the grassroots level."

However the party is yet to hold polls to 15 out of 37 organisational districts.

Last month, KV had visited Hindu seer swami Laxmanananda Saraswati's assassination site at Jalespeta ashram and his cremation place at Chakapada in Kandhamal district along with several senior leaders of the party and launched a statewide people's contact programme.
