KISS Plus 2 student death: Villagers demand proper investigation

The tragic death of a Plus Two Arts student from The Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS) on Friday sent shockwaves through the village of Nuapada. The student’s lifeless body was discovered at a hostel in Bhubaneswar, raising immediate concerns within the local community. Villagers are now calling for a thorough investigation to ensure justice for the family of the deceased.

Following the discovery into the matter, the Bhubaneswar Infocity Police confiscated the body and initiated a detailed investigation into the incident. While no official statements have been released by the authorities yet, it is hoped that the investigation will uncover the truth behind the untimely death of the student.

Growing Suspicion in the Village

The student, who hailed from Nuapada district, was known for their cheerful and hardworking nature. Their sudden death has left the villagers in deep shock, with many questioning how someone so full of life could have met such a tragic end.

"We cannot comment on the incident at this time. I hope the investigation provides a proper report, as only then will the truth come to light. No one has informed me about who went to Bhubaneswar," said one villager.

"He was a good boy, always helping out with odd jobs and working for the betterment of the village," another villager added.

Awaiting Clarity

As the investigation continues, the community remains hopeful that the truth will be revealed. Locals are eager for answers, believing that a thorough investigation will shed light on the circumstances surrounding the student’s death.

Meanwhile, the body has been sent to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Bhubaneswar, for a post-mortem, which will be conducted in the presence of the deceased student’s family members. 

The student was allegedly found hanging inside the hostel premises.

Authorities are working diligently to uncover the facts, with the expectation that the mystery will soon be resolved, bringing clarity to all involved.
