Berhampur: Around 3000 litres of kerosene being transported illegally was seized by the police at Polasara in Ganjam district, the police said today.

The kerosene, meant for the public distribution system (PDS), was allegedly transported in a mini-truck on Sunday, they said.

"The driver of the truck Sushant Sahu was arrested," Sub-divisional Police Officer (Chhatrapur) Shantanu Padhy said. The kerosene was being transported from Dhunkapada near Polasara.
