As per reports, there are only three teachers in the school for a student strength of 193. It is alleged that students are lagging behind in studies because there are insufficient teachers in the school.

While Pradeep Munda was thrown off the bicycle and fell a distance away, the wild animal first tossed the cycle into the air and then crushed Rashmita under its feet.

The Forest Department came to know about the sick calf from the visuals recorded by a thermal drone camera.

The animal was suspected to have died after coming in contact with a live wire that was laid around a paddy field.

The injured person, identified as Chhabi Kisan, son of Ashirtta Kisan of the village, is undergoing treatment at the surgery department of the Government Medical College and Hospital in the district. 

The Forest authorities took the accused to the crime spot for scene recreation. The accused demonstrated how the electric wire they had laid out caused the death of the elephant. 

As per reports, Jhunurani Behera from Jhanjhana village was bitten by a venomous snake on Sunday. But instead of taking her to the hospital, her family took her to one Minati Dehury of the same village who claimed to cure her from snakebite as she was possessed by a Goddess.

Today being Kumar Purnima, a festival for girls, Rashmita was making arrangements for the puja. However, she accidentally came in contact with a live wire and collapsed on the ground after suffering shock.  

Senior officials of the forest department informed that though a caution order was in place, the accident could not be prevented. Dense fog might have led to less visibility. However, a detailed investigation is being conducted in connection with the incident.

Sources said the pit was dug by the forest department for rainwater conservation. The calf was seriously injured after falling into the pit. It finally succumbed to the injuries on Monday.

As far as the symptom of the disease is concerned, the infected persons are reportedly developing fever and suffering from diarrhoea. The locals alleged the doctor at the hospital prescribed medicine for fever only and failed to diagnose the real disease.

At the prayer session at the school, they complained of feeling uneasy. Minutes later, they suffered from bouts of vomiting, diarrhoea and headache. They were immediately rushed to Keonjhar DHH where they are now undergoing treatment. 

A couple of cases came to the fore after a video in this regard went viral on social media platforms. Teachers have pointed to rising prices as the reason behind the eggs missing from the menu.
