The 63rd birthday of Kendrapara MP and Bharatiya Janata Party’s National Vice-President, Baijayant Panda, was observed on Monday at the Maa Saheshwari Temple in Salepur. The occasion witnessed a spiritual gathering where prayers were offered for the parliamentarian’s health, prosperity and overall well-being.
Several senior BJP leaders and party workers participated in the observance. Cuttack district BJP Vice-President Prafulla Swain, along with BJP leader Himanshu Mohanty, were present at the temple. They were joined by hundreds of BJP workers and well-wishers from the area, reflecting strong grassroots participation.
"Today marks the 63rd birthday of Kendrapara MP, BJP National Vice-President and the pride of Odisha, Baijayant Panda. To commemorate the occasion, Deepa Dana (deepdan) was performed at the sacred Maa Saheshwari Peeth in the Tangi–Salepur Assembly Constituency.” said BJP leader Prafulla Swain.

“On the occasion of the 63rd birthday of Kendrapada MP and BJP National Vice-President Baijayant Panda, a large number of party workers and supporters gathered at the Maa Saheshwari Temple. We offered prayers to Lord Jagannath, seeking his continued political progress and good health.” said BJP Leader Himanshu Mohanty.
Deepdan Seeking Divine Blessings
As part of the ceremony, the attendees lit lamps before Maa Saheshwari, collectively offering prayers and seeking divine blessings for Baijayant Panda. The atmosphere at the temple remained solemn and devotional, underscoring the cultural and spiritual significance of the occasion.
