AM Singh, IG, Wildlife (Project Elephant) is also part of the team which is visiting the state to probe a mishap in which six elephants were killed near Rambha in Ganjam district.

The visit of the central team is quite significant when the state government and Railway department have been playing a blame game over the death of the pachyderms.
