Jharsuguda: Commercial flight services from Jharsuguda airport will begin under the UDAN-III scheme, informed Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan today while addressing a press conference in New Delhi.

Pradhan informed that flight services will start from Jharsuguda to Bhubaneswar, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Mumbai, New Delhi and Raipur.

While SpiceJet and Alliance Air will start flight services between Jharsuguda and Kolkata, Turbo and Alliance Air flights will connect the city with Bhubaneswar. Similarly, SpiceJet will start flight services from Jharsuguda to Hyderabad and New Delhi while Jet Airways flights will launch operation from Jharsuguda to Mumbai.

The Union Minister added that Alliance Air and Turbo will operate flights from Jharsuguda to Raipur.
