The case has been filed by Pramod Swain, the producer of Surya Mandir Jatra Party, in which Sanjeev Padhi, producer of the Singhabahini Jatra Party, has also been named as a party. As part of the legal proceedings, a separate court notice has been served to Padhi as well. He has been asked to appear before the court on the 12th of this month. However, the court has provided him the option to submit his appearance through legal counsel if required.

Until the matter is heard and appropriate directions are issued by the court, Piyush Tripathy will not be permitted to resume his stage performances. Any participation in Jatra shows without explicit court approval would amount to a violation of the court’s order.
