Bhubaneswar: While the BJD and Congress continue to question the reliability of exit polls that have forecast huge gains for the BJP in the number of Parliamentary seats in Odisha, the Republic- Jan Ki Baat Poll projections today once again predicted that the saffron party will cross the double-digit mark.

Republic- Jan Ki Baat Poll prediction suggests that the BJP is likely to improve its tally from one seat in 2014 to 12 seats in 2019 polls in Odisha. As per its prediction, BJP will win Bolangir, Kalahandi, Bhubaneswar, Kendrapara, Koraput, Puri, Sambalpur, Sundergarh, Keonjhar, Balasore, Mayurbhanj and Dhenkanal Lok Sabha seats.

The prediction from just one LS seat to a possible 12 seats is not only likely to upset both the prospects of the BJD and the Congress in Odisha but also will have a huge impact on the Assembly poll results too as almost all exit polls had predicted voters' tilt towards BJP in the 'so called' invincible lands of Odisha and West Bengal.
