In Patukasasana village under Balasore’s Remuna block, two cousin brothers drowned while taking bath in nearby Budhabalanga River. Both the deceased were reportedly minors aged eight and 17 years respectively.

The patients and their attendants at the Mother and Child Health (MCH) centre of the Jajpur district headquarters hospital (DHH) are facing a tough time as most of the fans are lying defunct.

Following the accident, Odisha Fire Services personnel and Dharmasala police rushed to the spot and carried out rescue operations.
