Bhubaneswar/Delhi: Union Rural Development Minister Jairam Ramesh yesterday wrote a letter to Chief Minister Naveen Pattnaik asking him to complete stipulated paper works forthwith for release of Indira Awas Yojana funds to Odisha.
 
“The proposal on second phase installments of Indira Awas Yojana in Odisha which is supposed to be sent by November has not yet been sent,” mentioned the letter, asking Naveen to send the proposal as soon as possible without any delay.
 
All the states including Odisha have been directed to upload the facts related to Indira Awas Yojana.
 
Mentioning the sanction of Rs 264.14 cr to Odisha for the first phase under the scheme in current fiscal, Ramesh asked the state government to provide details about the number of people benefitted in the first phase and the work progress of their houses.
 
Ramesh in his letter also stated that the data should be uploaded on time in order to avoid any delay in distribution of funds.
