OdishaChief Minister Mohan Majhi held discussions with the Central Government to ensure the safe return of Odias stranded in Dubai and other countries affected by war.
The Ministry of External Affairs already initiated the evacuation process, according to official sources.
Evacuation Process Underway
The Ministry of External Affairs is undertaking the necessary steps to rescue Odias who are currently stranded in Dubai, as Odisha Law Minister said. The evacuation process began with coordination between the state and the Centre to facilitate their safe return.
Odisha Law Minister Prithviraj Harichandan said that the Prime Minister is giving importance to ensuring that not only Odias but all Indians do not face difficulties and are able to return safely to the country.
Centre Assures Support And Safety
Speaking on the developments, Harichandan said, “The Ministry of External Affairs is already undertaking all the necessary steps to rescue the Odias stranded in Dubai. The process has already begun, PM Modi and the Central govt are taking steps to ensure that all Indians stranded there are safely brought back and they do not face any inconveniences. Odisha CM held discussions with the Central Govt to bring them back safely.”
The state government remains in touch with the Centre as efforts continue to facilitate the return of those stranded abroad.
