A multi-track technical session complemented by technical exhibitions, tutorial sessions and panel discussion were held during the three-day event, sources said.

The ICORT-2019 aimed at offering a platform for the brightest minds to interact and exchange innovations, best practices and emerging trends in Range technology and pertinent engineering and science disciplines in general.

“Representatives from various countries participated in the conference and this is a big achievement for the organization as well for the defence capabilities and maturity of range operations in the country,” said project director of Agni missiles, Avinash Chander who attended the second day of ICORT on Saturday.

“At present, 30 missiles are being developed in India and many have been inducted in army and air force. The ICORT will provide a great amount of learning experience to the students of IITs and NITs as well,” added Chander.
