Bhubaneswar: Indian Society of Organ Transplantation (ISOT) has honoured Dr S C Dash, Director of Kalinga Institute of Medical Science (KIMS) for his contribution to kidney transplantation in India.
The award was given to Dr Dash during 22nd Indian Society of Organ Transplantation annual conference held in New Delhi from October 7 to 9, a press release from the institute said here.
Dash was previously Professor and HoD of Nephrology, Dialysis, Transplantation Medicine at AIIMS, New Delhi.
Others who were honoured with the same award are Dr Francis Delmonico, President of Transplant Society from USA, Dr Adibul Hassan Rizvi, Director of Sindh Institute of Urology & Transplantation (SIUI), Karachi, Pakistan, and Dr S Saharia, Senior Transplantation surgeon from Hyderabad.
