Cuttack: Biju janata Dal supremo and chief minister Naveen Pattanaik today cancellled the primary membership of the Tirtol block president of the BJD, Ashwini Dash, who was arrested by the anti-corruption wing sleuths while impersonating as a vigilance official. According to vigilance sources, Ashiwini introducing himself as a vigilance official demanded Rs 1,20,000 from CESU executive engineer Prashant Pattanaik to suppress unaccountable money who on doubt informed the police. Ashwini was trapped red-handed. Ashwini in fact was paid Rs.50,000 in the first instalment.
