Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Saturday reviewed the health condition of popular Ollywood playback singer Humane Sagar, who continues to remain in a critical state at AIIMS Bhubaneswar. The Chief Minister personally spoke to the doctors treating the singer in the ICU of the emergency ward and expressed deep concern over the lack of improvement in his condition.
According to official sources, Humane Sagar is suffering from severe liver-related complications, and several of his organs have reportedly stopped functioning properly. Doctors have stated that his condition is extremely fragile, and the next 72 hours will be crucial for his survival. Despite intensive treatment, there has been no significant response to the medical interventions so far.
In a statement issued by the Chief Minister’s Office, CM Majhi assured that the Odisha government is committed to providing the best possible medical support. He directed the AIIMS medical team to take all necessary steps to stabilise the singer. The Chief Minister further added that if the need arises, arrangements will be made to shift Humane Sagar to AIIMS Delhi for advanced treatment and specialised care.
