In a significant development in the death case of Ollywood singer Humane Sagar, an FIR has been registered against two of his managers at the Town Police Station in Bolangir on Friday.
According to official sources, complaints have been lodged naming Dinesh Behera and Prashant Behera, both of whom were reportedly managing Humane Sagar in recent months.
Several organisations have approached the police alleging that the singer may have been killed as part of a larger conspiracy, and demanded a thorough investigation. These groups have also condemned the recent incident in which Humane Sagar’s mother was allegedly misbehaved with, calling for strict action, sources added.
Police authorities have acknowledged receiving the complaints and confirmed that a further inquiry is underway to verify the allegations and determine the next course of action.
The organisations have also threatened to observe Odisha bandh if a thorough investigation into the matter is not conducted, sources informed.
Sources said that the members of these organisations will also lodge FIR at Saintala and Bargarh police stations.

Notably, the 34-year-old, whose soulful voice once echoed through every home in the state, breathed his last at AIIMS Bhubaneswar after a gruelling 72-hour battle under advanced life-support care on Monday.
