Hooch tragedy: Excise raids in Tukulipada

Cuttack: The excise department today seized 92 bottles of intoxicant syrup Cinnamon buried under the ground in village Tukulipada under Cuttack Sadar police limits. About 50 bottles were recovered in half-burnt state.

Eight bottles of Cinnamon were recovered from a well located in the house of main accused Baidhar Bhoi. The tragedy victims had consumed the killer brew from the illegal liquor den run by Baidhar. Baidhar too died due to consumption of the illicit liquor.
