Cuttack: After boycotting the court for over 45 days, the lawyers of Orissa High Court on Monday unanimously resolved to call off their ongoing protest and resume work from Tuesday.

The High Court lawyers were on strike since the last week of September protesting against the State Chief Minister's recommendation to the Union Law Minister proposing to set up two permanent benches of the High Court anywhere in southern and western Odisha.

At a general body meeting of the Orissa High Court Bar Association held in the bar hall, it was decided to suspend the ongoing cease work and the members of the bar would resume work from Tuesday, said the Association secretary Janmejaya Katakia in an official release.
