Bhubaneswar: The heat wave will continue for at least seven more days, Met department said yesterday predicting rain in coastal and interior Odisha on April 13 due to the trough line.

The weather department attributed the heat wave to cloud free skies and heat wind from west and south west direction.

However, less heat is felt in coastal areas due to sea breeze, the weather men said. Mercury level in ten cities of the States was over 40 degree Celsius yesterday. Talcher recorded the highest temperature of 43.2 degree Celsius followed by Bhawanipatna, Titilagarh and Bolangir.
