Hansda’s bail plea rejected

Bhubaneswar: The bail petition of Mayurbhanj MP Ramachandra Hansda, who was arrested by CBI for his alleged links with ponzi company Nabadiganta Capital Service Limited, was rejected by Khurdha District and Sessions court today.

The parliamentarian moved the court seeking bail after special CBI court set aside his bail application on November 10. However, the Sessions court had reserved the order after hearing his bail plea on November 26.

Similarly, hearing on the bail pleas of MLA Pravat Tripathy, earlier arrested by CBI for having alleged links with Artha Tatwa Group, will be heard today by the same court. Seashore broker Subhankar Nayak’s bail hearing will also be held today in the CBI court.
