Nabarangpur: Four days after BSF jawans unearthed an illegal country-made gun manufacturing unit in Narayanpatna of Koraput dictrict, police seized large quantity of gun-making materials from a forest near Sinsari under Dabugan police limits of Nabarangpur district on Monday night. 
 
The police have detained one in this connection.
According to sources, Dabugan police while investigating a dacoity in Ulamaguda village came to know about the existence of the materials in Jhimugudara forest on a tip-off.
 
On April 12, BSF jawans had also seized huge cache of arms and ammunition from the gun making unit in Narayanpatna.
 
Besides machineries used for manufacturing weapons, large quantity of claymore mines, drilling machines, Maoist uniforms and Maoist magazines were recovered from the deserted location.
 
Last month, security personnel had busted a country-made gun factory in Malkangiri district and seized explosives from Kandhamal district during separate raids.
