Worth mentioning, earlier in another incident, an Odisha Auxiliary Police Force (OAPF) jawan on night duty was found dead under mysterious circumstances in the Sesakhal locality of Rayagada, on November 6. His body had been recovered from the roadside.

The deceased was then identified as Gauri Tadingi, who was serving at the Rayagada Town Police Station. He had completed his night patrolling duty. His body was later found near a forested area close to the ITI Training Centre near Pitamahal village.

However, Gauri’s family members had revealed that he had been unwell for a few days. Despite illness, he had continued to attend his duty.
