Bhubaneswar: Maintaining a winning spree, girls again outperformed the boys in all three streams in CBSE class 12th result which was published today. Of the 33,848 examinees this year in the Bhubaneswar region which includes Odisha, West Bengal and Chhatisgarh, total pass per cent stood at 83.84. While girls’ pass per cent was 87.28 for boys the figure stood at 81.26%.
 
According to available figures, 30.22% students have secured 75% and above marks in the examination that was conducted in 362 schools. Navodaya Vidyalayas recorded the highest pass percentage with 95.73 followed by 92.28% (Central School) and 80.82% (private schools). Anshuman Mohapatra of Mother’s Public School, Bhubaneswar has topped in Science stream in the state.
