Launched in January, GLN was primarily designed to provide free online coaching for the 2026 exams. However, the program also established a specialized panel to conduct rigorous mock interviews for candidates who had already cleared the Mains. Out of nine aspirants who applied for this online interview guidance through social media, five secured ranks in the final merit list.

Top Rankers and Expert Mentorship

The successful candidates include Sattwik Satyakam Devta (Rank 100), Sai Raman Patra (Rank 285), Vishal Pattanayak (Rank 341), Debabrata Pramanik (Rank 467), and Gopinath Sahoo (Rank 795). Ganjam Collector V. Keerthi Vasan noted that a six-member panel of IAS and IPS officers conducted these sessions, spending up to two hours per candidate to share first-hand interview experiences and technical strategies.

Expanding the Vision for 2026

Building on this success, the administration is set to begin full coaching classes in late March. An entrance exam held on January 25 has already selected 170 meritorious students, with a 50% reservation for women. Three dedicated centers will be established in Berhampur, Bhanjanagar, and Chhatrapur. To ensure top-tier education, the administration has signed an MoU with a Delhi-based coaching institute to lead the instruction.
