Gangster Tito has links with Ollywood, informs Crime Branch source

Bhubaneswar: Arrested gangster Tito alias Syed Usman Ali has funded an Ollywood movie, stated sources at the Special Task Force (STF) of Crime Branch today.

Sources at the CB added Tito has invested a big amount through his brother in the Odia movie 'Biswanath'. The film's 'Mahurat' has been reportedly conducted and the shooting is underway.

Meanwhile, the sleuths are interrogating Tito whether he has invested in any other films, sources added.

It may be noted that Tito was initially taken on a five-day remand following his arrest in an encounter by the CB near Chandikhole in Jajpur on June 30.

Later, the Kendrapara SDJM Court again allowed the investigating agency to take the gangster on a four-day remand on July 9 for eliciting more information about his crime network, business network and inter-state links.

On the other hand, the STF is planning to move the court seeking permission to attach the gangster's property which is estimated to be over Rs 100 crore.
