Fresh low pressure in Bay of Bengal on Nov 22; depression likely

A fresh low-pressure system is likely to develop over the Bay of Bengal. Weather experts have issued a forecast indicating that a low-pressure area is likely to form over the southeast Bay of Bengal around November 22.

According to reports, the system is expected to move in a west-northwest direction and gradually intensify into a depression over the central parts of the south Bay of Bengal by November 24. Moreover, the system is expected to further intensify while maintaining its movement in the south-west direction. Meteorologists have advised that coastal regions and states bordering the Bay of Bengal should remain alert and keep track of further updates.

Meanwhile, the weather office has predicted a gradual rise in temperatures over the next three days, with an expected increase of 2–3 degrees Celsius across the state. However, residents in interior, northern, and southern districts are likely to continue feeling the cold in the mornings and nights.
