Berhampur: Bringing much relief to the patients in southern Odisha, authorities of the MKCG Medical College and Hospital today launched the CT scan facility.

Set up at an estimated cost of Rs 3.5 crore, the CT scan facility at the hospital will provide treatment to around 200 patients daily free of cost. Authorities informed that the facility has been set up on a public private partnership (PPP) mode.

This latest CT scan technology will cater to the needs of patients of southern Odisha, said Radhamadhab Tripathy, Dean of the hospital.

“The launch of the CT scan facility is a step towards fulfilment of the promise to provide free healthcare to people,” said Pradeep Panigrahi, Gopalpur MLA.
