Security forces on Monday launched an extensive operation in the Maoist-affected region of Daringbadi to capture the notorious Maoist leader Shukru. The intensified combing drive has been continuing relentlessly for four days, signalling a determined push to track down the rebel leader and his associates.

High-Tech Surveillance from the Sky

To strengthen the search effort, Odisha Police has deployed an advanced drone to monitor Shukru’s movements. The drone has been flying over the rugged landscape, providing aerial surveillance and enhancing the security grid on the ground.

Few persons are constantly tracking the movements of the drones, which are playing a crucial role in aerial surveillance.

According to reliable sources, the drones are capable of flying up to 15 kilometres from one point to another, enabling security forces to monitor vast and inaccessible forest areas. This technological support is expected to significantly enhance efforts to locate Maoist leader Shukru and his aides, who are reportedly hiding in remote and difficult terrain.
