Former Principal Accountant General joins BJD

Bhubaneswar: Former Principal Accountant General (PAG) Amar Patnaik today joined the ruling-BJD in presence of the party president and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik. Amar, after joining the party, has been assigned the responsibility to head the IT wing of BJD.

"Amar Patnaik has a very rich experience of working in many states and his joining will definitely strengthen the party. He will head the IT wing of BJD,” said the Chief Minister while welcoming him to the party.

The chief minister's leadership qualities inspired him to join the party, said Amar.

“I believe in Naveen Patnaik's strong leadership. I was also inspired by my association with late Biju Patnaik. These factors propelled me to leave the service and join the party. It was a leap of faith and conviction in the leadership of our chief minister and commitment to cause of the State,” said the former Principal Accountant General.

Minister and senior BJD leader SN Patro, present at the joining ceremony, said Amar Patnaik will be an asset to the party.
