Cuttack: The former inspector in-charge of the Pipli police station Amulya Kumar Champatiray who was dismissed from service for alleged dereliction of duty in connection with the gang rape case today filed petition in the State Administrative Tribunal against his termination.

Amulya in his petition has challenged the dismissal order and said that it was done in the most arbitrary manner in violation of Constitutional rights. The SAT on admission of A K Chamaptiray`s petition has served reply notices to the chief secretary, the home secretary, the director general of police and SP, Puri.
