Rourkela: The first batch students of Hi-Tech Medical College and Hospital in Rourkela were handed over their MBBS degrees today marking a milestone for the college which has been in the news lately for all the wrong reasons.

At an event attended by political heavyweights like Union Minister Jual Oram, Rourkela MLA Dilip Ray and Rourkela Development Authority (RDA) chairman, Sarada Prasad Nayak, 100 students of the first batch of the college were handed over their certificates for successfully completing the MBBS course.

Director Shradhananda Mohapatra and the CEO of the medical college were also present at the event.
