Explosion rocks Bhubaneswar’s Sundarpada: CCTV footage reveals intensity of blast

In a significant development, CCTV footage of massive explosion that rocked the Sundarpada area of Bhubaneswar surfaced on Saturday, revealing the intensity of the blast that left as many as four persons critically injured.

The visuals, now circulating among investigators, show the terrifying moment when the explosion occurred, sending shockwaves across the locality.

The incident took place in the Azad Nagar area of Sundarpada. According to sources, the blast happened while explosive materials were allegedly being handled on the rooftop of a house. The powerful explosion caused panic in the neighbourhood, with residents rushing out of their homes after hearing the loud bang.

At least four individuals sustained serious injuries in the explosion and were immediately rushed to a nearby medical facility for treatment. Their condition is reported to be critical.

Given the gravity of the incident, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) has taken up the case and initiated a detailed probe into the incident.
