Bhubaneswar: After this year’s plus II examination mired in controversies including Physics question paper leak case, answer sheet evaluation of the test began on Wednesday with 47 evaluation centres across the state.

While the evaluation will be completed by April 22 the results are likely to be declared by first week of June.

“Around 12,000 evaluators have been appointed to check answer sheets across the state,” a Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) official said.

The evaluation will take place in two phases with first phase ending on April 12 and second phase from April 14 to April 22.

However, as per the decision of the Higher Education department following the question paper leak, evaluation of answer sheets of residential colleges will take place at special venues, added the official.

Meanwhile the department has decided to re-evaluate the answer sheets by the Chief examiner scoring more than 90 percent, said sources.

A decision regarding non-declaration of the names of top 20 scorers will be taken later, officials said.
